The snow was so wet that it stuck to the clothes line. This is why we lost our power. The power lines couldn't handle the weight.

These guys are cleaning up an additional 8 - 10" that had fallen since Scott & I shoveled the night before.

Night time was a new experience without electricity. We had to learn to do things by candle light, but at least we had a gas fireplace to keep us warm!
One thing we enjoyed was making hot cocoa & playing board games by candle light. We actually could see especially with the alabaster candles Sarah got us from Egypt! Thanks Sarah!

The snow WAS beautiful when it was freshly fallen!! But again it incapacitated so many people!
It doesn't take long before it gets dirty & ugly does it?
