In Due Season

Do you remember this tree?

Well look what it has produced!
We have already picked enough cherries for 4 pies worth!
And it still has plenty left to pick!

And remember the blueberries bells?

Now isn't this beautiful!

This bush is loaded with possibilities!

We love to make blueberry muffins
& blueberry syrup for pancakes with these.

Please Pray

I come to you again asking for prayer for Carissa's grandmother. Apparently when shifting her into bed they dropped her on the floor. Yes, you read right! Because of this she is paralyzed. So they have been keeping her flat on her back hoping she will heal. They did notice that she has moved her legs, so they are hoping that the paralysis is just because the spine is swollen and she will gain mobility in time. But the biggest crisis at the moment is the pneumonia she has developed from lying on her back. They thought that they had lost her once, but the Lord has kept His hand on her. Please continue to pray for her recovery! Thank you so much! I will keep you posted.

On the Way Home from Church

We were on our way home from youth group when we noticed these horses in a nearby field. It looked so picturesque, so I stopped to take some pictures.

This is leaving the parking lot as the sun was setting.
Here are a few pictures of the horses:

These guys decided to come visit.

This is the farm across the road from where the horses were.

June Flowers so far

A good June rain, we needed it so much & God provided.

These are Aztec Lilies that Pastor Mike gave me. Aren't they beautiful!

The many views of our roses which are now in full bloom.
These were taken after it had rained.

A bee after enjoying the nectar it feasted on.

Here they are with the yellow yarrow.

This is the arrangement Scott put together in our back porch crock.

This is our red yarrow. Sometimes its orangy in color, but this year its seems to be quite red.

Honeysuckle is so fragrant right now. I love its beautiful flower.
As I was hunting pictures, I caught this view of the barn.

The raspberry bushes are in bloom!

The sun coming though the cupelo of our garage.

Some Detours are Nice

There was a reason of which I can't seem to remember why we had to detour recently, so we went down Cherry Lane, a road not to far from my house. I love the view down Cherry Lane. So I took pictures, of course!

I have always wanted to take a picture of
this farm because I pass it all the time.

We came upon these cows just grazing as cows do.

Then these 2 noticed that I was taking their picture.
They decided to come check us out.

This one was a little shy.
She thought that she could hide behind the grass!
This is a farm across the road.

There were wild daisies everywhere...with buttercups dotting here & there.

It started to rain. We came upon these gals hanging out under shelter.

You've Got to See This!

My niece, Ashley, had this on her blog & I just had to share it with you. Listen to the whole thing - IT IS AMAZING!!!!!

Psalms 115:1 & 26:8

Not to us, Oh Lord, not to us
but to Your name be the glory,
because of Your love and faithfulness.

No matter what happens in life, whether we understand it or not, God be glorified! Because He deserves all the glory and when you get to know Him, the knowing doesn't matter. You just trust that He knows! Period, end of story. Because you see, our finite mind can't comprehend the things of God. It's only by the Holy Spirit that we grasp what we do know. There's many times God asks me to step out in faith, & I "see" the situation & go, "You've got to be kidding!" But the strangest thing happens when I'm obedient & do what He asks. He meets me! And in my obedience, He opens doors. I've seen it happen over & over again. And even if all this didn't happen, He still deserves the glory! But when you take the time (& I mean time) with the Lord of the universe, you find that His love, His tenderness is all that you need. And you begin to recognize His handiwork in things. God is good! And He more than deserves all the glory!

I love the house where You live, Oh Lord,
the place where Your glory dwells!

Psalm 29

Ascribe to the Lord, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord glory due His name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.

The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks into pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
He mades Lebanon skip like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in His temple all cry, "Glory!"

The Lord sits enthroned ove the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
The Lord gives strength to His people;
the Lord blesses His people with peace.

End of May pictures

We have a beautiful ride each time we go to church. This is the golf coarse we pass by.

These daisies are along the side of the road on the way to church.

This is my neighbor's flowering bush across the street.
And here is my sage in bloom.
I have 2 bushes loaded with these flowers but I don't know what they are.

Here are some cool pictures of our rhododendron when they were in full bloom. The bushes were just full of bouquets. It was fun taking pictures of them!
