A Day at Ohiopyle

Wednesday we went to Ohiopyle for a hike. The 1st place we stopped was at Cucumber Falls. They still had the rhododendron in bloom and they were beautiful!

Now there's a pretty river!

An active one at that!

Now tell me this dog doesn't know that he's getting his picture taken!

Look what we found

Here's the stream coming down from Cucumber Falls.

Here we are coming to the bottom of the falls.

Now here is Cucumber Falls...

John, Aaron & Andrew decided that they wanted to go under the falls, so they down. They found out how cold it was. Kitty, do you remember this?

Afterwards we went into town & picniced at their town park. It was good enough for us.Some boys never grow up!

Parker checking for crumbs

After we were done we went to Meadow Run. On a warm day it's fun to slide down the rocks in the stream. It's a natural water slide. I just realized that I cut Carissa out of this picture. That wasn't supposed to happen!
We decided to climb up the stream. After so far, they went on up without me. Here the boys are climbing the rocks.

We headed home after a tiring day of hiking.

That evening Tom & Donya came for a vis
it.

It was a good day with beautiful weather. It was nice to come home & relax.

He was working for the farmer behind our house. We were sad that he couldn't be there with us.

Thanks for the remembrance of the Falls and Ohiopyle!
May the Lord give us many more memories to share while we wait for Him to come in all of His glory!
